Resources for Aquatic Therapy Equipment

Hi! I'm an OT in South Louisiana at a pediatric outpatient clinic and provide aquatic therapy on Fridays. I've been trying to find some foam floating mats that are reasonably priced as well as other equipment that can't be found at a dollar store or Walmart.

Just curious what resources y'all use for aquatic therapy equipment.

Thanks!

Elizabeth

Hi Liz

I suggest that you check out Theraquatics: https://www.theraquatics.com/mats.html

I would not suggest the floating island as it has two many holes so it sinks easier, but if you get the smaller blue mat I suggest you get two as the bigger kids need more support.

Another option if you have the larger space is a bigger mat on Amazon that I have begun using about 6 months ago and find it a good option as well. I am not sure I would choose it over the blue mats with holes in them, we call them flo-through mats.

Here is the link for the Lilypad but now Amazon said not currently available:

Hope this helps. If you are looking for an in person course coming up this year I have one in April and one in Sept:
